PAOLO CORRONCA SCHOLARSHIP: 6 months of professional training at Weld Australia
Weld Australia, endorsed by Istituto Italiano della Saldatura – Ente Morale (IIS), is happy to promote the Paolo Corronca Scholarship, established to provide an extraordinary opportuni- ty for an Italian International Weld- ing Engineer (IWE) to take part in a 6-month professional exchange with Weld Australia. With its headquarter on the Upper North Shore of Sydney Weld Australia has offices in Brisbane, Wollongong, Melbourne and Perth. Applications are open to all profes- sionals, whether already employed or not, who have obtained a quali- fication as IWE. Whilst in Australia, the successful can- didate will travel extensively around the country, undertake training and professional development activities and will work alongside engineers and experienced specialists in the field of welding engineering for technical support, development of welding pro- cedures, inspection, certification and experimental investigations across different sectors. The candidate will receive financial support to cover travel and subsistence expenses and a salary in line with market trends.
